An Open Letter To 2019.

Dear 2019,

I am a firm believer that you can change your life at any time & any place. It could be a random Tuesday in April at 2:16pm. It could be today, January 1st, it doesn’t matter. Even though I believe tat you don’t need to wait for a milestone or sign to start changing your life, there is something so inspiring & transformative in the air during the New Year. I have been in the midst of a personal transformation for a few months now but this month I’ve really felt it & really started to commit. The key to success is to keep this feeling alive within yourself until you reach your goals & then if it burns out or you reach your goals, ignite the feeling again with new plans, always keep improving upon yourself.

For this year, I am hoping for nothing but personal growth for myself and all of you. I am not looking to “find myself” because I don’t think anyone ever does, or ever should. I know my morals and my goals, but I never want to stop growing. I never want to be the same person all the time once I reach a state in my life that I deem acceptable. This year I just hope to transition into the next best stage of who I am. I want to be all I can be for now.

I am also hoping for everyone to reach their goals. Not only do I want tot see myself improve but I want to see my peers and friends grow with me. We are the new generation and I want us to be the best we can be, together. I want more people to support one another and come together in this time of tension amongst different groups.

I have so many more aspirations and hopes for the year, but I’m sure you do too. Focus on yourself this year. This is your time.

So, 2019, I hope you are kind to everyone, I hope you give lessons to those who need them, heal those who are hurting, and inspire everyone. I am so excited to see what you are going to bring with you in the coming months and I am ready to take it on.

Happy New Year.
